Sixth Form

Welcome from the Head of STAGS Sixth

We are committed to ensuring every one of our students can flourish through high quality teaching and outstanding facilities. Our dedicated teaching spaces, varied study areas, a buzzing common room and spacious coffee shop with skilled baristas create an inspiring environment. All of this is supported by an exceptional team, dedicated to giving guidance and advice as they move confidently towards the next stage of their adult lives.

At the heart of our Sixth Form are the STAGS Values of Support, Trust, Ambition, Generosity and Success. These values shape all we do, as students play a vital role in both the school and the wider community. As ambassadors and role models, all STAGS Sixth students embrace a rich variety of subjects and activities that nurture independent thinking, collaborative learning and the skills needed for next steps.

We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to all current and prospective parents, for the unwavering support and encouragement you give your children. Your belief in their potential, the time you invest in their growth, and the values you help instil make a profound difference in their educational journey. It is through this shared commitment between home and school that our students are able to excel, embrace challenges and reach their goals with confidence. I speak on behalf of the STAGS Sixth team that we are excited to work in partnership with you as we guide students towards the next stage of their success.

Message from our Head Students

Welcome to STAGS Sixth Form!

Life at Stags Sixth Form is vibrant and dynamic, with a strong focus on academic excellence and personal development. STAGS Sixth is a supportive community where students are encouraged to pursue their passions and achieve their goals. The quality of teaching at STAGS is exceptional, with dedicated teachers who inspire and challenge students to excel academically, ensuring there is good communication between both teachers and students.

STAGS Sixth offers a wealth of opportunities for students to explore their interests and develop their talents, ranging from academic enrichment programs such as Step Up to extracurricular activities and leadership opportunities. With access to resources, support networks and industry connections, students are empowered to pursue their aspirations and succeed in various fields. Sixth form students have ample opportunities to develop their leadership skills through various roles, such as the Head Student Team, Prefects, House Captains, Subject Prefects and many more. These positions allow students to take on responsibilities, make decisions, and positively influence the school community, preparing them for future leadership roles.

As Head Students, our role is to be a voice for our peers, lead Student Parliament discussions with discretion and understanding, be a helping hand at inter-house and school charity events, but most importantly, demonstrate the STAGS Values in everything we do.

STAGS is proud to be a member of the ALPS Consortium alongside five other schools. Each school works to make their students interconnect with their peers from other schools, by selecting leadership team members from each consortium school to represent their school. STAGS, alongside the other consortium schools, organise a conference in which a large number of students will have the opportunity to open up discussions surrounding recent and impactful topics that affect the youth of today. By being a part of this community, STAGS encourages its students to remember that we are the leaders of tomorrow, and that our actions and words have an effect on the changes that come about in our society.
